Never Stop Learning.

Excerpt from "21 Ways To Jump Start My 2010"
Helping You Have Your Best Year Ever!
By Glenn S. Ferguson

It is quit easy to become a part of the 'been there, done that" crowd. You know the person who thinks they know everything about everything, but do not have the results to show. .
This is why it is so important to realize that you should never stop learning. Because when you stop learning that is the time that you really start dying.

So here are three question to determine whether you are still learning

1. Are You DOING it?

It is a common mistake for you to quickly dismiss information you may have heard before thinking that if it were that great you would already have the results from it. This is wrong!

Because while you may have heard it before you may not have used it. And that is the mistake most person make thinking that knowledge is power.  Knowledge is only power when applied.
So are you doing what you know to do?

2. Are You Teaching It to Others?

You will find that the best way to learn is to teach others. Teaching what you know and are applying will help you to develop the new habits that you need to have your best year ever. And it also help you to be accountable to those you are teaching.
So have you encouraged your 10 family and friends to register?

3. Have You Mastered It?

You may be tempted to answer "yes" but honestly you will never be able to answer this question with a “yes” in any area of you life. And you must understand this. When do you stop learning? NEVER!!!

You must strive for mastery each and everyday because this is the only way you will be able to transform your life and have your best year ever.

“You've got to continue to grow, or you're just like last night's cornbread - stale and dry.” ~ Loretta Lynn

Now, here's the real point of what I want to get at today...

We are already 14 days into the new year but have you done the things that are absolutely necessary to change the course of your life in 2010?

While you may have registered for and receiving these emails, have you taken the time to read them and take the action required - even though you know it can change your life?

If you haven't, I suggest you start -  TODAY.

Go back and read all 16 previous emails and take the action steps and if you don't have all 16 just email me and I will get them to you.

Revitalize your energy by embracing growth and change. And don't get stuck with the "been there, done that" crowd.

It's never too late to be who you want to be.  Go for it!

Women - No Time for Complacency!

This is National Women’s Week and the Women’s Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Labour & Social Development is celebrating with a week of events that you should endeavor to participate in.

However, as we celebrate one of the realizations is that despite the inroads made by Bahamian women – they still seem to be complacent when it comes to relationships and money matters.

Bahamian women for the most part seem to still be comfortable having their finances managed by the men in their lives and seem to still think that men are the answer to their financial woes.

This is a grave mistake and I want to say that it is important for you even if you are married to a money management expert who provides for you and doesn't have a sweetheart (as far as you know) on the side to become involve and understand what’s happening with the money in your house because if something happens to him you won't have the slightest idea of what to do.

And if he does turn out to be a devil because of your hands off approach you won’t be able to find all the money which will result in you getting the shorter end of the stick.

So my warning to you is no matter how confusing, complicated or boring you feel money management is, not learning about money and investing is the most devastating things you can do and a sure bet to ruining your future. And whether you believe it or not, no one can manage your money as good as you can.

The good news is that it does not take a lot of effort for you to manage and make your money grow. If you are guilty of this mistake here are eight simple steps to get you on the right track:

If you are going to survive you have to start with a thoughtful, well-designed financial plan. And you may need professional help in getting it done.

Remember that your financial well being is no different from your medical well being and just as you use a professional to help with your medical need you will need financial help!

Your plan should include the following:
